Green coloured cloth covered boards with silver coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with white coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. For many years Janet Flanner reported on styles of life, politics, and art in the Western world for The New Yorker Magazine from Europe. This is a collection of her unpublished work from 1932 to 1975 Rubbing of the lower book edges with a little softening of the back strip edges. Faint age toning and foxing of the text block edges. Previous owner's ex libris plate to the free front end page. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with a small V piece missing to the top front edge. Small split to the top right hand corner of the back strip. A little sunning of the back strip and rear panel. First English Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [6], VII - XIV, [2], 368 pages,.
