Good. - Octavo, softcovers bound in printed tan paper wraps titled in black on the front cover & the spine with an illustration by Jean Boullet on the front cover. The covers are darkened along the edges with a light crease to the top corner of the rear cover. There is a short tear near the middle of the spine which extends slightly into the front cover. There is also a very short tear to the bottom of the front joint. 60 & [4] pages, with 2 full-page illustrations by Jean Boullet. The leaves are darkened. A good unopened copy. <p>The first issue of this bilingual poetry periodical with contributions by young French and American poets. The text is in each poet's native tongue, be it French or English.<p>Edited by Daniel Mauroc and Elliott Stein, this wonderful little magazine includes contributions by Paul Valery, Norman Andre Schlenov, Jacques Moreau, Elliott Stein, L.S. Senghor, Peter Simmons, Jacques de Pressac, Manuel Bridier, Theodora Flynn, Madeleine Auerbach, John de Morpurgo, Emmanuel Morgue, Wilson Douglas, Serge Berna, Bernard Frechtman, Frederic Prokosch, Hugh-Alain Dal, Pierre Francis, and Daniel Mauroc.
