New York: 1970 Japan Project, 1970. Specially printed folder (heavily worn) containing a packet of materials related to US-Japan relations, critical of the Joint Security Pact which was due to expire in June of the year of publication. A table of contents lists twelve individual items, all but one of which are still present. Contents include "Pax Americana and the future of Asia" by Ross Terrill; "Okinawa: Kanashii Monogatari" by John Travers, " "Excerpts from Vietnam and the Pacific Rim Strategy" by Peter Wiley, etc. The 1970 Japan Project was headquartered at 777 UN Plaza, New York.
