"Professor Tokuzo Sagara is dean of the College of Culture in Miyazaki University. He is one of the most emoinent authorities on western fine arts in Japan and is also well-versed in Japanese fine arts' (back flap) Tourist Library No. 9. Tipped in at the verso of the last page a colophon, mostly in Japanese, but which includes in English 'Printed in Occupied Japan'.
