Very Good. 8vo. 305, [2] pp. The heart of the book are Japanese stories from folk lore, but also pieces on aspects of Japanese culture, such as Buddhist names, or songs of Japanese children. Last two unpaginated pages are ads contain ads for three Hearn titles. Light wear to the green cloth cover. A few maginal notes in a very light pencil, which we choose not to erase but easily removable. Former owner's name written lightly in red ink, over printed text on title page.
