One of the foremost jewelers of his time (1854-1943), Henri Vever assembled a magnificent collection of Japanese prints, books, and drawings, covering not only the major Ukiyo-e artists, but also many that were little known. The collection was largely disposed of at auction during 1974 and 1975.
