1862-63 TWO VOLUME ILLUSTRATED FRENCH GUIDE TO PRUNING FRUIT TREES BY PROFESSOR AT THE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE OF PARIS.

Two 9 inches tall hardcover volumes, contemporary 1/2 red calf with marbled boards, spine with raised bands and gilt titles, over 300 wood engravings in text. Edges of covers rubbed, spines sunned, light foxing, dampstaining to preliminary pages of vol. 2. Overall good+. Vol. 1 contains chapters on pruning apple and pear trees; vol. 2 covers peach, apricots, prunes, berries, and grapes. In custom archival mylar covers.
