De Angeli, Marguerite. 95 pp. Binding is pumpkin colored with brown picture of colonial boy knapsack on branch over one shoulder., Binding has "wrinkles" where cloth was not glued properly to boards and a small dent at bottom edge. DJ: edgeworn, small closed tears at edge, 1/8" soil spot on front cover. Front cover illustration features boy with knapsack greeting Native American boy at seashore. The story tells of a young boy who became lost at sea, ended up living with a Quaker family in New Jersey, running away to live with Indians, and experiences many small boy adventures in Americn History pd. of 1760's.
