Hardback, 1936, first US edition, published by The Viking Press, New York, 565 pages+.
Measures around 8 3/8" by 5 3/4" by 1 1/4". No dust jacket. Light grey cloth binding, light blue lettering and detail to front board and spine. Discolouration to spine and edges of boards, marking and scuffing. Signs of shelf-wear, bumping to edges. Some slackness to binding, cracking to front inner hinge but otherwise reasonably sound, textblock intact. Page edges browned, foxed, marked and scuffed. Some marking and a little foxing to endpapers, creasing to hindmost pages, otherwise the odd mark here and there but no underlining, marginalia, inscriptions, etc. See pictures for further information.
