Navy blue cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine, under priceclipped, pale blue dustwrapper printed in black and red. 10ins x 7.5ins, xvi, 192pp plus frontis portrait. Also 19pp illustrations within the text. The story of a book typographer and printer who worked at the Doves Press, Cranach Press and the Central School of Arts and Crafts. Dw has very small nick to top of front cover, o/w VG / VG.
