About This Item
New York: Stone & Kimball, 1897. This is a Very Good copy of the First American Edition, part of the "Green Tree Library." Green decorative cloth binding (design of two trees) with gilt lettering on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 198 pages. Top edge is gilt, others rough-cut. There are penciled signatures/notes on the last page and two different signatures (1897 & 1918) on the front endpapers. Spine darkened, light rubbing at margins. A bit shaken; two places have been reinforced with a linen tape.. First American Edition.. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
