Octavo, xxiv, 278 pages with 8 illustrations plus 50 full-page colour plates with tissue guards. Gilt- and two-colour-decorated blind-stamped cloth; top edge gilt, others uncut; covers slightly rubbed and flecked; corners slightly worn (exposing the board at the rear top corner); a very small ink mark to the leading edge of five initial leaves; inner hinge slightly cracked (the binding remains sound); rear endpapers slightly stained (very slightly affecting a few adjacent leaves); ink ownership name; overall a very good copy.
