Front hinge strengthened between half title and frontispiece, Presentation copy signed by the author: "Montague Pasco With kind regards from his Old Friend the Author. George G McCrae 2051926" Also inscribed "To Mrs Erasmus Bligh from M G C P 1948" Mrs Erasmus Bligh was George McCrae's daughter Winifred Montague. Gordon Charles Pasco, 1860-1952, was a Queensland Boer War veteran and son and grandson of 19th century naval officers.
