London: Printed for T. Woodward. 1704. . The works of the late Lord Archbishop of Canterbury: containing fifty four sermons and discourses on several occasions. Together with the rule of faith, being all that were published by his Grace himself, and now collected into one volume. To which is added, an alphabetical table of the principal matters. Thick Folio. Lightly rubbed at extremities, else fine condition. Contemp. full polished blue leather, elaborate French-style gilt-decorations on the covers, a.e.g. Rebacked in matching leather, spine gilt , with decorated brown spine label. Very good and clean internally. PROVENANCE: Bookplate suggests this belonged to Edward Miller Mundy, father-in-law of the 4th Duke of Newcastle.
