(viii] 259 & Appendix 145 pages. 28.5 x 22.5 cm. Large folding map frontispiece, 49 engraved plates, maps and plans on 42 sheets, including six colored acquaints plates and six hand-colored folding maps and plans. List of Subscribers & Directions to the Binder for placing the Plates. The author, an Irish Captain of the 93rd Regiment of Foot participated in the fall and capture of Alexandria during the Napoleonic Wars. All plates generally clean and fresh, some light toning to first few leaves with balance predominately clean. Armorial bookplate of Colonel Cooper, and small signature of Cooper at title page head.
