Limited Edition One of 1,065 copies, narrative and illustrations of Fray Marcos de Niza's journey in current day Southwest and Northern Mexico, 115 pages with excellent full page illustrations by Jose Cisneros, two page map showing The Road to Cibola, Indian towns, Spanish towns of 1539 and modern towns, beautiful black and red title page, quality publication with quality paper, nice classy uncut forededge, just over 11 inches in height, Book is Very Good Plus, some very light spotting on the brown cloth boards and a couple of light bumps, bright gilt titles to front panel and spine, No previous owner bookplate or writing, Jacket is Very Good Plus or better, light corner wear and light wear to head and heel of spine and top rear edge, original $10 price intact and jacket protected in a new mylar sleeve. A solid and most presentable First Edition at a Bargain Price. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
