New York: G.P. Putnamn, 1852. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. An intrepid women's travels in the mid 19th Century when travel there was a rugged challenge, originally a paperback in Putnam's Library for Travellers and the Fireside. Newly bound in Red Cloth with a blacck title label on the front and fresh gilt lettering. The binding is fine, with no edge wear. Inside, no prior owner marks. The original paperback cover is bound in. Occasional stains but the paper is not browned. .
