The World Publishing Company, 1944. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1944. First Edition Thus. 379 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages are heavily tanned and foxed throughout. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding loose. A previous owner's name redacted on front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled.
