About This Item

Legendary actress and singer. Concert tour document signed, 3 pages, 8.25" x 10.75", August 9, 1961. Agreement between Garland's Kingsrow Enterprises and Concerts Incorporated for her to perform at the Denver Coliseum during her legendary 1961 tour. Beautifully signed at the conclusion in blue ballpoint, "Judy Garland," and initialed three times throughout the text, "JG," to approve changes to the contract's terms. Comes with a large attractive portrait of Garland. In fine condition, with expected document wear. On April 23, 1961, Garland had appeared at Carnegie Hall in what was to become known as 'the greatest night in show business history'-the performance she signed on for here took place on September 20, 1961. A choice document from this high point later in her career.

We pride ourselves on the ability to track down the rarest and most interesting material for our client's collections. The partnerships we form with libraries, institutions, and personal collectors begin with a phone call or an email and last for decades.
