London: Hutchinson & Co, 1932. Third Impression. Black Boards. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Illustrated. 256pp. A charming copy of this first edition. No wrapper. Illustrated with 16 full page b/w photographic plates as called for, including a frontispiece plate. Gilt embossed lettering to the spine. Bump to the tail of the spine and the cloth at the head of the spine is a little turned in. Two corners are lightly bumped and two are lightly rubbed. There are a couple of areas of rubbing to the rear paste down measuring about 3 cm x 3 cm and one area to the front paste down measuring 2 cm x 2.5 cm . Scattered light foxing, most noticeabl to the fore edges. Clean and tight. A very good copy.
