An unused Finnish A2 lobby poster for the movie Lucy Gallant, starring Jane Wyman & Charlton Heston The film was first screened in Finnish cinemas in 1956. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx, printed by Rotopaino Oy of Helsinki. It is in miraculous shape, Mint condition. Unfolded. No pinholes. No tears, nicks or creases. Bright, clean and vivid.

Finland: 20th Century Fox, 1967. 1st Edition 1st Printing. No Binding. Very Good. First Printing. A vintage, original, Finnish cinema poster for the first screening in Finland (October 1967) of the classic Robert Aldrich film, The Dirty Dozen, starring Lee Marvin. A folded poster in VG condition, approximate size is 24 inches by 16 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: 2-inch tear at the top right edge. Pinholes at corners. Traces of tri-folding and around these are secondary creases. Minor scrapes to the black titles. At the verso there are a couple of ink-splash type stains. One of these shows through (at the letter "L" in "Jaeckel"). Notwithstanding these faults the poster still presents very well and will look superb under glass. For best appreciation of condition, please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing.

A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-foyer POSTER for the first screening in Finland (March 1965) of the celebrated film, Zorba the Greek, starring Anthony Quinn and Alan Bates. A rolled poster (i.e. no folding creases) in Fine condition, approximate size is 23.5 inches by 16 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. With minor signs of use: one very short tear to right edge and similar to bottom edge (neither immediately noticeable). Minor print-soiling to verso where there is also a small pen inscription of film-title and date. Minor handling creases to the corners and some minor dings along the left edge of the poster suggesting that it may have been mounted with clips - there are neither pin-holes nor tape residue marks. In fantastic clean condition otherwise, Fine or better. Artist-signed in the plate. For best appreciation of condition, please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing.

Fisher, 1928-2010, was a singer, actor & entertainer; married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Stevens & Betty Lin; and father of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher (grandfather of Billie Lourd) and Joely Fisher. He was extremely popular in the 1950s, had several successful records, and was a TV show host. Great gift for an entertainment memorabilia collector, old movie buff, or classic Hollywood aficionado.

A vintage, original, Finnish cinema-used poster for the first screening (1962) in Finland of Sam Peckinpah's acclaimed western, starring Randolph Scott (in his last film) and Joel McCrea. The film won the First Prize at Cannes and is nowadays considered as the director's first "Great" movie. The poster names the movie as "Guns in the Afternoon" which was its European title. Approximate size is 23.5 inches by 15.5 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: Near Fine condition. Unfolded. Pinholes to the corners. Short tear to the right edge (1cm). The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1960 with no subsequent releases of any description. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. This particular poster is a standard size 23.5" x 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one small crease upper right corner. This is a cinema-used poster and there are pinholes but this is in really Fine - or better - condition. Beautifully illustrated and artist signature in the plate. A stunning example of vintage cinema art and design.
