About This Item
Text is clean and unmarked in a tight and square binding. Binding has some wear at the top outside front corner. Edges of the text block are age-toned. Photo section included. DJ is intact with wear at the top corners and top of the spine. A very small chip at the back DJ by the sine. A stain is on the edge of the back outside DJ. From the back DJ flap, "With masterful command of the potential drama, Miss Cowles portrays the tragic - and sometimes absurd - circumstances of Wilhelm's career, from the child Victoria described as 'Such a little love!' to the man most of the civilized world regarded as a monster; from the youth influenced by the mighty Bismarck to the old man whose lingering popularity among the German people enraged Adolf Hitler."
