Portland, Oregon: Timber Press, 1988 Green paper-covered boards. Based on the earlier book by the author, "The Laurel Book," published in 1975, about mountain laurel, Kalmia latifolia. It incorporates all of the information on the laurel's history, botany, taxonomy, genetics, culture, and propagation but includes more color illustrations and new information. Illustrated with many black-and-white and color photographs and diagrams. Lower spine and cover edges lightly-to-moderately rubbed. Moderate shelf-dust staining to top page block. Otherwise clean, tight, and unworn.
