About This Item
Yale University Press, New Haven, 1995. Book. Very Good. Cloth. 292 pages. Square format hardcover, bound in blue cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. An early gift inscription on the front free endpaper has been undecorously blacked out with marker. The previous owner, an institutional library, has also discreetly stamped its name on the title page, as well as a separate Withdrawn stamp. There is also an institutional label which has been blacked out with marker on the rear pastedown. Otherwise, the binding is tight, the edges and corners of the boards are sharp, the dustjacket is bright, now also encased in a Mylar sleeve, and the interior is, aside from the aforementioned, free of other markings. Texts in English, with illustrations in color. Extensive bibliography and index..
