New York: FSG, 1965. First Edition First Printing. Hardcover. Good/Very Good. Signed. A Good copy (small owner's name) in white cloth, in an attractive Very Good dust jacket with light wear at the tips of the flap folds and spine. Soiling to the rear cover (but not the dust jacket). The binding is sound, and the text is clean/unmarked. The author's large signature is tipped in at the half-title page (the sheet following the endpaper). Racing great Junior Johnson has also signed the book, at Wolfe's essay on him: The Last American Hero".
