First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 128pp. Brown cloth lettered in black at the spine and upper board with a black-stamped silhouette decoration. A minor slant to the binding. The backstrip cloth lightly toned, the top edge dust soiled and with just a touch of spotting to the fore edge, preliminary and concluding leaves and to occasional margins. Some browning to the free endpapers, title page and to the final text leaf. Hand some armorial bookplate to the front free endpaper. A good copy of this collection of eleven Gallipoli stories..
