The first part of this book has the historical background of the industry in Kansas up to 1920; & biographical sketches of auctioneers who deal in Kansas Shorthorns. The second part (pp. 198-634) is filled with profiles of 100s of individual Kansas cattlemen and their ranches (arranged county by county), with detailed information on the herds including bloodlines and prize-winning cattle.
