Biography of the Croatian novelist, patron of the arts, countess and patriot (1625-1673) who died in martyrdom after falling out of favour with the Vienna court. ** Inscribed ** 'To his Excellency Bishop Fulton', believed to be Bishop Thomas Fulton (1918-2002). Includes a short poem in English (by Zrinska) printed by the author with a short note in english to Fulton on inside cover. 112 page with B&W illustrations & index. Slight edge/corner wear and yellowing to white covers. Scare.
