New York: Hillman-Curl, Inc, 1940. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Very good. Drawings by Fred L. Fox. New York: Hillman-Curl, Inc., 1940. First edition. A satire of Adolf Hitler and the rise of Nazi ideology published on the eve of World War II. This work was a collaboration between screenwriter William Conselman and his daughter Deirdre. Inscribed and dated in December 1939 (just prior to publication) by Deirdre Conselman on the front flyleaf. Small quarto. Original pictorial paper-covered boards. Minor wear to the corners and tips. The dust jacket is browned and somewhat edgeworn, with a chip to the top corner of the front panel; otherwise very good.
