About This Item

London and New York: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1922. Full Morocco. Fine. Beautiful Kelliegram full morocco inlay binding, with Art Nouveau-style gilt detailing, both front and rear cover. 8vo. 18.5 by 13 cm. xxxiv, [2], 305, [1] pp. The front cover illustration is of the Vicar and his wife. This is a later edition of the work with Thomson's illustrations, which first appeared, in similar form, in 1890. Condition: perhaps a touch of sunning to the spine. A clean, crisp, lovely copy regardless.
