Battle Creek, MI: W H Kellogg, 1909. pamphlet filled with animals in human clothes at various happy activities, especially eating Kellogg's Corn Flakes patented 1907. This movable picture book is the first cereal premium. The colorful wraps are in 3 panels, the third of which folds in. The 2nd page is cutting horizontally into sections so that you can mix and match bits of animals and clothes. When the 3rd folded-in panel is opened another sliced page appears. Text is in rhymed couplets. Rear has pictorial of children dancing aroung corn flakes box and boy being pulled by rooster in cart with ditty below....."To market, to market, jiggedy jog, Bring back Corn Flakes made by Kellogg! Crispy and brown and good as can be; I love them - you'll love them- 'nother helping, that's me. Front and rear covers have light soiling, rear has pencil around illustrations and ink name at bottom of page .RARE AND VERY COLLECTIBLE. . Good. Soft cover. First Edition. 1909.
