NY: New Amsterdam Book Company, 1899. "Being a biographical sketch of Rudyard Kipling, with an Appreciation and Some Anecdotes." Attractive orange cloth binding with illustration of brownish elephants on cover and gilt lettering. Cover is bright, but spine is somewhat faded and slightly browned. Edges a bit bumped and slightly worn at all extremities. Inside pages clean and bright, with sepia-toned photo of Kipling on facing title page. A curious and charming little book!. Cloth. Good/None. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
