Edinburgh: for Archiblad Constable and Co, 1821. First Editions. Small Octavo. In three volumes. Each volume with two half-titles, 320, 339 and 348pp., only volume two has imprint on the verso of title, volume two has "ere" on p. 119 and p. 338 "having" . lacks ads and lacks one blank at rear of volume three. Spines of volumes two and three mis-numbered. Bound in 3/4 black morocco over marbled paper covered boards, spines flat with lettering and rules in gilt, contemporary bookplate of John Fitzherbert Ruxton. A very nice, handsome set.
