Publisher's variegated green cloth with gilt spine lettering and decorations. Top edge gilt. Title page illustration of Scott and 5 tissue-guarded plates inserted. This octavo volume is from set Number 436 of The Standard Edition, which was Limited to 1,000 sets of the Novels and Poems of Scott. Previous owner name in a neat hand on the front paste down. Owner has also left interesting pencil notes on the paste down indicating she Purchased the book in December 1910; Read it in January 1912; and Read it in November 1922. Very Good with just light shelf wear.
