James Albert Michener (February 3, 1907 – October 16, 1997) was an American writer. He wrote more than 40 books, most of which were long, fictional family sagas covering the lives of many generations in particular geographic locales and incorporating detailed history. Colored map endpapers of Kent, Ohio and Kent State. Old spill has left a brown stain down the fore-edge of textblock and bottom edge of front pastedown with not too obtrusive damping on the front cover as well. Text is clean and bright, not affected.. Signed. Hard Cover. Good/Good.
