About This Item
Hank KETCHAM. Original Sketch Signed of Donald Duck and Dennis the Menace. Ketcham has drawn a pen and ink sketch of Donald Duck saying to Dennis the Menace, "Hey,Kid...Gimme back my HAT!" Ketcham drew Donald Duck with angry eyes, a wide open mouth, and perhaps a sweat drop near his head. Ketcham drew Dennis more prominently since the cartoonist is most closely associated with the trouble making boy. Rendered on a drawing paper. the page measures 8 1/2 x almost 10 1/2 inches but slightly uneven at top margin. Ketcham signs and dates in a bold hand, "Hank Ketcham 11-16-92." Ketcham drew Donald Duck when he worked at Disney studios. 4to, Jan. 25, 1991. Autograph

About Schulson Autographs
Fine and rare manuscript material and artworks have been offered by our company for forty years. Written descriptions accompany each piece, and we stand behind our items in perpetuity. Schulson Autographs is the continuation of David Schulson Autographs. Filled with art and history, Scrawl: An A-Z of Famous Doodles (Rizzoli 2019) is our coffee table book based on our family collection of illustrations in letters, written by Claudia, Caren and Todd Strauss-Schulson. Artworks from Scrawl were exhibited at the Grolier Club, Jan. through Feb, 2019, "Art in the Letter and Other Scrawls."
