Hardback, year unstated but appears to be from 1923 (with gift inscription dated 1924) and believed to be first edition, contains a number of black and white illustrations and a coloured frontispiece, published by Thomas Nelson and Sons, Ltd., London, 122 pages
Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 1/4" by 5" by 3/4". No dust jacket. Pale blue cloth binding, pictorial black and white detail and black lettering to spine, black detail to spine. Some marking and scuffing to binding, heavy discolouration and wear to spine with tear across centre. Signs of shelf-wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Bumped corners. A little slackness to binding but book contents quite firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit foxed. Some marking to endpapers, gift inscription on front free endpaper. Some marking, thumbing and foxing to page surfaces but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
