The account of the author's first voyage as an apprentice in the sailing ship Denbigh Castle is unique in the annuals of sail. The voyage to South America took thirteen months. 192 pages with 15 black and white illustrations. Book in good+ condition with presentation sticker om front endpaper, some foxing to leading edges and front endpaper, and light tanning. Dust jacket in fair condition with knocks and small chips and wear (see photo).
