This is a Very Good copy of the Copyright edition (First Edition Thus) of Stevenson's classic tale of adventure, published two years after the First Edition by Cassell. Part of the "Collection of British Authors.Vol. 2526." Presented in a half-leather binding: marbled paper-covered boards with green leather spine and tips. Six rules and gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 288 pages. The text is especially bright and clear, supple, and easily readable today. Page edges are marbled as well. Rubbing to the edges and very slightly cocked. An extremely attractive small volume. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall. First Thus.. Half-Leather. Very Good/No Jacket.
