Cassell, London., 1886. First edition, first issue. pp viii, 311, [17] adverts dated "5.G. 4.86" and "5B. 4.86" and with "business" rather than "pleasure" on page 40, line 11. Folding frontispiece map in colour. Original blue cloth lettered in gilt. The book was issued in four different colours, with no priority given.Early ownership signature on half-title. Inner hinges cracking and repaired. Cloth rubbed at joints and at head and tail of spine. Corners a little bruised. Sporadic spotting. Good.
