Glasgow: Rowans Ltd, 1938. First edition. Softcover. g to vg. Quarto. 32pp. Original string bound wrappers with gold lettering on covers. Illustrated title page. This handsome pre-WWII catalog was published by Rowans Ltd, a Glasgow-based manufacturer and distributor of kilts and accessories. It contains two color photographic reproductions showing different patterns of Ferguson Tartan, 9 color illustrations of young children and men wearing nine different styles of kilt wear, and 5 color photographic reproductions of kilt accessories. Slight creasing along spine, with minor staining on covers. Previous owner's name and address on upper margin of title (not affecting lettering). Slight age-toning along paper margin. Wrappers in overall good to good+, interior in very good condition.
