Number 36 of a limited edition of 77 signed copies with an original gelatin silver print (23 x 12,5 cm.) loosely laid in. The book is signed and numbered by Christian Boltanski on the colophon page and on the verso of the print. Total edition was 2000 copies. Illustrated with black & white posters from the Red Cross with photographs and information on characteristics of children that were left displaced or homeless in post war Germany. Introduction by Boltanski in English, German ad French. 87 pp., 24 x 14,4 cm. Very fine copy in original, thin cardboard slipcase. .
