New York: William Sloane Associates, 1953. Hard Cover. Very Good binding/Fair dust jacket. Signed. A copy of Tom Wicker's first published work in his own name, The Kingpin, signed with a personal inscription on the front endpaper. The inscription reads: "For Nancy and Bill McLaughlin - - this product of a misspent youth - - with great affection." Tom Wicker would later earn his name as a political journalist, especially during the Nixon administration. Fair dustjacket, with chips and tears, and foxing to the rear and flaps. A Very Good copy, with no marks of any kind. Very Good binding / Fair dust jacket.

Library and institutional billing requirements are accommodated.
