Thick quarto, 566 pp., numerous b/w illus., 2 color plates, 23 b/w full page plates, maps, bib., index. Part of the larger Riverside Natural History set, this is vol 4, Birds. Half-leather binding in v.g. cond. w/only sl. wear to the corners. Binding solid, marbled end papers, marbled edges, former owner's tiny name ink stamp on top right hand corner of the page following the f.f.e.p. A clean, nice copy.
