About This Item
London: Bell & Hyman, 1983. Slight creasing to edges of price-clipped dustwrapper, minor bumping to corners of blue boards, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Containg thirty patterns for knitted garments (mostly jumpers, cardigans and pullovers; mostly in adult sizes but some for children, including what we would now call a onesie with cable and bobble decoration ) inspired by traditional designs from British coastal communities from Shetland and Fair Isle down to Great Yarmouth. 125pp, 12 colour and numerous b&w illustrations of the garments along with diagrams of the patterns.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
