Amalgamated Press, London, 1955. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. 190 pages. Coloured illustrated frontispiece, being a reproduction of J. C. Dollmans' painting " The Hunter ". The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white illustrations, games, and cartoon strips. Illustrated front cover, showing Frank Richards' creation, Billy Bunter, ordering a meal, with yellow and black writing on the front panel. Green cloth spine. An activity book for children ( with a claim of for boys ) from 1955. Includes short stories by Frank Richards and his Greyfriars crew the first called " Billy Bunter -- Not Guilty ", a Sexton Blake story by John Drummond plus much more. Fun read from the past. Rubbing to all edges of the book, with underlying board visible to the rear front fore edge. Insect damage to the spine and rubbing to the rear book panel. A few marks to the front panel. Browning and foxing to the text block edge. Browning and foxing to the endpapers and there is little foxing to the internal pages as well. Gift inscription to top edge of the front paste down.
