Former Library Book. xvi, 231 pp. Text clean and unmarked except for library bookplates and stamps and front and back endpapers. pages slightly toned at edges. Illustrated with 25 illustrations, including photographs of Knole House, and reproductions of portraits of members of the Sackville family. Grey cloth boards illustrated in dark brown at front, and lettered in black at spine. Boards lightly scuffed and soiled, lower corners bumped, spine top and tail starting to fray. Joints and hinges good, binding intact and stable.
