About This Item

Rochester, NY: Eastman Kodak Co.. Good. 1918. Stapled wraps. B&W Illustrations; This is a small format booklet / magazine with illustrated covers and a stapled spine. The booklet is in Good only condition. The covers have noticeable toning and spotting, mostly to the spine. The top inner hinge corner has water spotting that has stuck the pages together. The text pages are generally clean and bright. There is a small chip to the top edge that has affected several pages. "Kodakery was a monthly periodical about photography, a journal for amateur photographers published by the Eastman Kodak Company Rochester, New York. Its articles covered topics of popular photography and were richly illustrated with photos. The first issue was published in September, 1913 and the last in 1932. Every purchaser of a Kodak Brownie camera received a free one year subscription. Current subscribers received a copy of the book "The Way to Better Pictures" when the magazine ceased publication. All issues of the publication are believed to be in the public domain today and many are available online. The title, "Kodakery", was later reused for an internal Kodak employee newsletter in the 1990s" .
