'History of the Royal Academy of Sciences' is an 18th-century collection of essays on various scientific and philosophical topics. Also known as the French Academy of Sciences, this society was established to encourage scientific research and develop the interest in the sciences in France.
This incredibly rare German edition was published in Breslau collected and edited by Wolf Balthasar Adolph von Steinwehr. It features 10 large volumes with articles, reports, charts and tables, and most desirably impressive folding engravings!
