Frankfurt: Verlag A. Detloff, 1898. Hardcover. Near Fine. Later edition, c. 1898. Cancel glued to lower title-page, original red cloth, lettered in gilt and black, with illustrations stamped in black and silver stamped devices to the corners, spine in gilt, rear board blank. Marbled fore-edges and patterned endpapers, clean throughout and the binding tight and square, light bumping and rubbing to the corners and spine ends, else a fresh and bright copy. Hundreds of illustrations and instructions for making elaborate folded-napkin sculptures. Written by a professional waiter who learned the skill as an apprentice, and honed his technique over years of practice. Nice copy.
